Mushroom Soup is one of the most popular of recent trending meals on earth. It’s easy, it’s fast, it tastes delicious. It is enjoyed by millions daily. Mushroom Soup is something which I’ve loved my whole life. They’re fine and they look wonderful.

The ingredients needed to make Mushroom Soup:
  1. Get 4 oz mushrooms
  2. Prepare 1 small onion
  3. Get 1 oz butter
  4. Prepare 1 oz plain flour
  5. Get 250 ml hot water
  6. Prepare 250 ml milk
  7. Take 1 stock cube (chicken or veg)
  8. Prepare Salt and pepper to season
Instructions to make Mushroom Soup:
  1. Peel and finely chop the onion and wash and finely chop mushroom. I’ve blitzed them in a food processor.
  2. Melt butter in a pan and add chopped onion and mushroom - cook gently over low heat until softened but not brown (5 mins). Stir in flour and remove from heat after a couple of minutes.
  3. Dissolve stock cube in hot water and gradually add to the vegetables, stirring well.
  4. Add milk to the pan and return to heat. Stir until mixture boils then reduce heat and simmer for 5-10 mins.
  5. Add salt and pepper to season. Serve with chopped parsley (if you have it) and crusty bread. I’ve served mine with some homemade cheese and pesto bread 😊
