The ingredients needed to make Atho:
  1. Make ready 1 cup ghee
  2. Take 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  3. Prepare 1/4 cup kharek (dried dates)
  4. Prepare 1/4 cup raisins
  5. Take 1/2 cup cranberry
  6. Make ready 1/4 cup fennel seeds
  7. Prepare 3/4 cup roasted chopped almonds, pistachios and cashew nuts
  8. Get 1/4 cup sugar coated fennel 1/4 cup shredded coconut
  9. Take 1 teaspoon saffron
  10. Take 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
Steps to make Atho:
  1. Soak the kharek in warm water for an hour. Remove from water and pat dry. Spread it on kitchen towel so any access water is absorbed. Once dried completely cut the kharek into small pieces.
  2. In a bowl add ghee and powdered sugar and beat with hand whisk until nice and fluffy. Add the rest of the ingredients and transfer in an air tight jar. Its ready to serve the next day.
