The ingredients needed to make Cornbread:
  1. Make ready 1 1/4 cups cornmeal
  2. Get 3/4 cups flour
  3. Get 1 Tbsp granulated sugar

  2. In a bowl, whisk together all dry ingredients.
  3. In another bowl, whisk eggs until frothy
  4. Whisk in butter milk and butter
  5. Pour over dry ingredients, stir just until combined (be sure not to overwork the mixture)
  6. Pour into 2-liter or 8×8 greased cake pan and bake for 25 to 30 minutes (test it like a cake)
