  3. Make ready 2 black cardamom

  6. Get 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  7. Make ready 2 onion cut it into thin slice
  8. Make ready 250 g Beef / lamb / mutton mince (without fat)
  9. Get 2 tsp ginger & garlic paste
  10. Take 2 Tbsp green chilli paste
  11. Take 1 cup yogurt whisk
  12. Prepare 1/4 tsp cumin powder
  13. Prepare 1/4 tsp coriander powder
  14. Take 1/4 tsp garam masala powder
  15. Make ready 2 cups black chickpeas (boiled with salt) OR you can use tin chickpea
  16. Make ready 1 litre water or as needed
  17. Prepare 1 tomato cut into sliced
  18. Take 2-3 fresh green chilli
  19. Prepare 1/2 kg basmati rice (soaked 2 hours)
  20. Make ready to taste Salt

This chickpeas along with onion, tomato and other Indian spices are cooked together with rice to get a very nutritional rich. Kala Channa Pulao makes a complete meal by itself. Drain the water and place the soaked chickpeas in. This recipe is way different than the usual Pulao recipe.

Instructions to make Black chickpea Pulao

Kale chane ka Pulao:

  1. 🌸METHOD ::/ - In pot,add oil - Add green cardamom,black cardamom,bay leaf,cinnamon stick,black cloves,star anise, cumin seeds and mix well. - Add onion and fry until light brown.
  2. Add beef mince and mix well until it changes color. - Add ginger garlic paste,green chilli paste and mix well.
  3. Add yogurt,salt,cumin powder,coriander powder,garam masala powder,,mix well and cook for 8-10 minutes. - Add black chickpeas and mix well. - Add water and mix well.
  4. Add tomato,green chillies and mix. - Add rice,mix well and cook on high flame until water is reduced then cover and steam cook on low flame for 10-15 minutes. - Leave for 5 mins then serve with raita and salad. - Enjoy !

Drain the water and place the soaked chickpeas in. This recipe is way different than the usual Pulao recipe. This one is a bit spicy & more masalay daar as I call it. If you are not used to have it that spicy u can always lessen the quantity of chillie powder. Next add yogurt & chickpeas/garbanzos & cook on medium high till the yogurt water dries up.
